Project Description

The assignment focused on the planning of Block B of the Grand-Bassam technological free zone (242 ha), including a residential and commercial area of 73 ha. Keios provided the urban design, infrastructure planning, regulatory drafting, topographic survey, and the production of a 3D model and presentation video.

Scope of Services

• Preliminary studies covering the environmental, urban, socio-economic, and regulatory contexts, as well as topographic survey
• Development of the functional programme and master plan of the ZRC
• Master planning of Block B (ZBTIC) and the ZRC (residential and commercial zone)
• Integrated urban design, including zoning, multimodal mobility, public transport, cycling paths, and 14 ha of public and green spaces
• Design of roads, utility networks, drainage, sanitation, and lighting
• Drafting of the Special Urban Planning Regulation for the ZRC
• Production of a 3D virtual model and a project presentation video
