Project Description

As part of the Local Infrastructure Development Project funded by the World Bank, KEIOS prepared the SDAUs for Port-Gentil (136,462 inhabitants), Lambaréné (40,000 inhabitants), Mouila (22,982 inhabitants), and Tchibanga (24,000 inhabitants) through a participatory approach involving territorial analysis, urban strategy, climate adaptation, regulatory tools, and training.

Scope of Services

  • Project inception: team mobilisation, initial data collection, and work planning
  • Territorial analysis and identification of urban and regional development challenges
  • Environmental studies, risk assessment, and integration of climate change adaptation measures
  • Development of a Geographic Information System (GIS) for spatial data management
  • Design of growth scenarios and shared long-term visions with stakeholders
  • Formulation of strategic orientations and preparation of the structure plan map
  • Organisation of participatory workshops and preparation of regulatory consultation documents
  • Finalisation of technical documentation, including urban planning regulations and sectoral action plans
  • Capacity building and training of local stakeholders in structure plan implementation
