Project Description
The study assessed sustainable tourism potential in the Gilgit-Baltistan region of Pakistan. It examined current conditions, integrated inputs from consultations and produced recommendations for sustainable tourism development. Services included analysis, stakeholder workshops and strategy formulation.
Scope of Services
- Analysis of the current tourism situation, including natural and cultural assets, accessibility, infrastructure and market conditions.
- Organisation of local consultations and workshops with public authorities, private operators and community representatives.
- Formulation of recommendations for a sustainable tourism development strategy for the region.
