Project description

Assignment funded by the World Bank through SLEDP to design signage systems for three destinations in Sierra Leone — Leicester Peak, Tacugama, and Bureh Beach — aimed at improving wayfinding, interpretation, and the visitor experience through a coherent visual identity and detailed technical design.

Scope of Services

  • Review of project documentation, site layouts, and existing drawings
  • Analysis of sites and needs assessment
  • Preparation of signage layout plans for each site, defining locations and functions
  • Development of a coherent visual identity, building on the style guide from the pre-feasibility phase
  • Drafting of interpretive, directional, and service-related contents in close coordination with SLEDP
  • Graphic design of signage, including layouts, colour palette, typography, logos, and iconography
  • Structural and technical design of sign types, with material specifications, finishes, and installation methods
  • Delivery of print-ready files and full technical documentation to support procurement
