Congrats to our team for successfully completing the assignment of the elaboration of the new Spatial Planning Act and Spatial Planning Standards for the Kingdom of Bhutan. The client is the Ministry of Works and Human Settlements, funded by the World Bank in the framework of the Bhutan Urban Development Project II.
It is expected that the new planning tools will contribute to the fair, orderly, economic and sustainable use of land by protecting the environment and the cultural identity of the Country, controlling the intensity of human settlement and, in general, ensuring the sustainable utilisation of space.
