Project description
For the Palestinian National Authority, Keios developed a Sustainable Tourism and Visitor Economy Development Plan for Bethlehem and surrounding municipalities, identifying investments and actions to enhance tourism competitiveness and preserve two World Heritage Sites through a participatory and sustainability-focused approach.
Scope of services
- Background analysis of tourism, cultural heritage, urban dynamics, and infrastructure
- Definition of development vision, strategic objectives, and scenarios
- Identification and formulation of priority projects, programs, and activities
- Preparation of implementation and delivery plans
- Conceptual design of selected actions, including cost estimates and environmental/social screening
- Drafting and finalisation of the Sustainable Tourism and Visitor Economy Development Plan
